Another good crew turned out for the Clear Lifestyle Support Jackpot Bowls at the Deniliquin Bowling Club on Sunday.

Ella Hipworth, Bill Young and Mike Donohue claimed the bragging rights when they were the only combination to win both their games.

Popular greenkeeper Col Knuckey then had his chance at a very substantial payday.

His name was drawn for a pick of the board to snare the joker, with the jackpot standing at $2350.

His failed attempt leaves $2400 up for grabs after play tomorrow.

With only nine cards left, the odds are quickly turning in favour of the lucky bowler who gets the next opportunity.

Names for play tomorrow are to be in by 12.30pm for a 1pm start. Phone nominations will be accepted by calling 5881 1348.
