On June 2, she was able to make her debut for the Murray Bushrangers Girl’s Coates talent league team at the Highgate Recreation Reserve in Melbourne.
Jerrah demonstrated exactly why she was there, awarded best on ground for her efforts in her team’s defeat at the hands of the Northern Territory side.
It was a low scoring contest, with the NT scoring 3.2 (20) to the Bushrangers’ 0.6 (6).
Although her side was unable to register a major for the game, Jerrah was lively when the ball was inside her team’s forward half and 50 metre arc.
Her commitment to the contest and tackling pressure resulted in a couple of shots on goal, unfortunately, only for minor scores.
“There was a little more pace and speed on the game,” Jerrah explained.
She was able to have some time spent on the ball in the midfield as well as off of a half forward flank.
When asked about her own personal goals for football, Jerrah pointed out that making the team from week-to-week was one of her top priorities right now.
When she is not playing in the Girl’s Coates Talent League Murray Bushrangers, Jerrah is on the roster for Echuca United’s women’s side.
