This resulted in Deni consistently controlling possession, adding to the scoreboard whilst maintaining the pressure with tackles.

The Deni Rams under-10s kicked off their season in style with a fantastic team performance against the Echuca Bombers on Sunday morning in Moama.
In what was their first official game, the young Rams showed plenty of energy, teamwork, and enthusiasm from the first bounce.
Coach Jack Eastman was full of praise for his side, and very pleased with their ability to play as a team and share the ball around.
Standout efforts were seen all over the ground, but special mentions and awards went to Bailey Cabral, Jackson Catt, Asher Parsons and Gussy McGrillen.
The Rams are looking forward to building on this strong start as the season progresses.
Under-12s:
The under-12s kicked off their season on Sunday against Echuca Murray Bombers, for round one of the Goulburn Murray Junior League.
The Bombers came out firing, slotting three straight goals in the first quarter and taking a commanding 20-0 lead at the first break.
The young Rams finally settled in the second quarter.
A brilliant goal by the new full forward Will Crossley put the Rams on the scoreboard, and plenty of pressure by a solid backline limited the Bombers to only one goal in the term.
The Bombers added another 17 points in the third to the Rams’ one.
The highlight of the match was the Rams’ never-give-up attitude in the final quarter.
Led by Will Thomas in the ruck and Nate Fitzpatrick dominating the mid-field, the Rams began to take control.
The forward line came alive, with Ollie Dellwo having a standout final quarter.
Goals came from Dellwo, Charlie Eastman, Jimmy O’Connor, and Edward Bliss.
The Rams had the momentum, the ball reaching the defensive 50 once.
The boys can be incredibly proud of their fightback and strong finish to the game.
