Two members of the Wahgunyah Karate Club, where students study both karate and judo, travelled to Bendigo for the Bendigo Judo tournament on Saturday, June 17.
Once again both students won medals with Jackson Rogers taking out the silver medal in his weight division and Patrick Johnston winning gold in his allotted weight division.
Patrick also entered in the next higher weight division for extra experience and was successful in winning the gold medal for this division also.
Both students displayed sportsmanship, mat etiquette and were excellent ambassadors for their club and town. Congratulations guys.
