Teams came from far and wide to take part, playing five games over 16 ends during the two days of competition.
When the dust settled, only one team had been victorious in all five games.
The combination of Deniliquin bowler David Hessel and Mathoura players Paul Clear and Mark Quor claimed the spoils.
A close second in the tournament, after winning four and a half of their five outings, was the team comprising Kel Whiffen from Rochester, Vera Lee Curnow from Moama, and Mooroopna’s Thomas Downie.
Tournament director Mark Law is to be congratulated for a sterling job in co-ordinating and organising the weekend’s play.
The club is also indebted to Maria and Peter Strongman of White Lion Hotel fame, for their valued sponsorship of the event.
