They were too strong an opposition in the final round, where they came up against Smashers.
Shuttle Masters surged ahead with a score of 347-319.
Three game winners for Shuttle Masters were Steve O'Neill and Declan Luks.
The win on Monday was particularly sweet for stalwart player Pam Boulton, who said it was “lovely” to win a grand final.
Boulton has been playing badminton in Deniliquin since the mid 1970s and, as a committed member of the club, continues to play badminton every Monday year round.
The Deniliquin Badminton Club would like to thank all those who showed support and commitment during the summer competition.
The club will return to the courts with its winter competition on Monday, June 20.
Practice nights have been scheduled in the intervening weeks, on Mondays June 6 and 13 from 7pm at the Deniliquin Sports & Entertainment Stadium.
