At the recent Deniliquin & District PSSA Cross Country Event held in the Murray Valley Regional Park in Deniliquin, Mathoura’s team took to the track with impressive speed and determination.

In cold and muddy conditions, the nine strong squad displayed not only impressive athleticism but also resolve and determination with eight students securing a Top 10 finish - four finishing in second, third or fourth places.
Sisters Matilda and Sophie Eddy both also crossed the line in the top spot as district age group champions.
Six Mathoura Public School runners qualified to compete in the next level of competition, representing the Deniliquin & District PSSA at the upcoming Riverina event.
It will be held in Gundagai on Thursday, June 16.
