Season 2023 is looking bright for Mathoura Football and Netball Club with the appointment of senior and junior netball coach’s eager to lead with their experience and knowledge.

A-grade will be coached by Kat Wippel and Shantelle Keogh.
Kat and Shan have featured around the club for many years with over 200 club games combined.
They have previously coached, been committee members and played with a wealth of knowledge between them.
Kat’s knowledge will guide the team in defence while Shan’s strength is in attack, and together this duo will have the A-grade side in great shape to face the coming season.
B-grade will see the return of three time premiership player Barb ‘Babs’ Cox to coach the side for season 2023.
As a star on and off the court, Barb will have the B-grade side in good stead ready to take on the coming season.
C-Reserve will be coached by Nicole and Lori McCormick.
Lori is coaching for the first time and her managing skills and willingness to grow will be a great asset to the team.
Nicole has previously coached, after taking a year off she will be fresh and ready to lead with Lori and grow her skills being back involved with the club.
C-grade is yet to be determined and will be announced at a later date.
The under-17s will be coached by Phoebe Keech who has played more than 100 games for the club.
She is the current netball co-ordinator and will maintain the role for season 2023.
Having previously coached at senior grade she is looking forward to working with juniors to give them a positive start to the beginning of their future as seniors.
Under-15s will be led by Jayde Ilsley who has previously coached junior sides.
She has played in a grand final at Mathoura, was a runner-up Best and Fairest and been the recipient of the Umpire of the Year award.
Jayde is returning after coaching juniors in the Heathcote League and will be the netball head umpire.
Jasmyne Banks will coach the Under-13s team having played both senior and junior netball for the club and previously coached the minis.
As a senior player she is a four time BNF winner, one league BNF and two netball spirit awards.
The minis will welcome coach Mackenzie Emery who is a senior player who came up through the junior ranks.
She helped coach them in season 2022 and her guidance and wisdom will greatly benefit the junior girls for the new season ahead.
Phoebe Keech is coaching the under-17s for season 2023.
Nicole and Lori McCormick will coach C-reserve for Mathoura.
Barb ‘Babs’ Cox will coach B-grade.
Jasmyne Banks will coach the under-13s team.
Mackenzie Emery will coach the minis.
Jayde Ilsey has been named under-15s coach for season 2023.
