In what was a close match all day, Division 1 was outgunned late by Moama to go down 55 shots to 65.
Conway Bovell’s rink was always “playing catch up”, eventually being beaten 12-26.
In a very tight game, Steve O’Brien, Terry Taylor, Tony Danckert and John Flisher were only one up after 16 ends but put the game beyond doubt when they claimed a seven on the next end, to go on to a comfortable 26 shots to 18 victory.
Mark Quor’s side was leading 17-13 with two ends to play, but conceded a pair of fours thereafter to succumb, 17 shots to 21.
Division 3 travelled to Lockington and was outplayed by the hosts to the tune of 28 shots to 47.
Maxine Norton’s team lost 14-21, and Joy McArthur’s rink was trailing 1-14 after only six ends.
They held their own from there but eventually were defeated 14 shots to 26.
