Sam Singleton has been made a Life Member for the Blighty Football & Netball Club, recognising his 200 senior games for the club this season.

The honour was bestowed on him during the club’s 2025 presentation night, held Sunday, September 14.
Held the day after the Picola & District League grand final in Deniliquin, a big part of the day was celebrating the Blighty under-13s netball premiership.
For their efforts during the finals campaign, Ella Charlton and Kaydnce Sibraa were presented with Best in Finals awards.
In the club’s other major awards, seniors playing coach Dane Leyden was named Champion Football Player.
The 2025 Club Person award went to George Reid, and the Annette Bain Junior Club Person award went to Isabel Pearn.
The Deb Cochrane Sportsmanship award went to Eliza Weir.
The player with the highest aggregate was Kaydnce Sibraa, while Ashlea Charlton’s importance to the club was highlighted when she won both the junior and senior goal shooter awards.
Ashlea also received the Rising Star Player Award, and Stevie Bateman received the Rising Star Umpire Award.
