The Deniliquin Rams have signed another 17 players for its senior football squad for the 2025 Murray League season.

All players named in the last fortnight are returning from the 2024 season, with a good mix of players looking to break into the senior group, as well as those who have played senior level football already.

Committing to the club in 2025 are Monte Barnes, Bailey Townsend, Reece Hussey, Ollie Fagan, Riley Hamilton, Noah Bradley, Luke White, Lachie Cooke, Angus Hay, Jordan Amor, Kai Hillier, Dean Macdonald, Angus McBurnie, Liam Pitts, Ben Nisbet, Brett Macdonald and Brock Redden.

Many have either played in a grand final with the reserves this year, or gained finals experience with the seniors.

The signings follow the news that local footballing superstar, Sam Lloyd, has taken up a playing-coach role with Geelong Amateur FNC Seniors in the Bellarine Football League.

Other important movements for the Rams from the off-season have included the re-appointment of Gary Parsons as the senior coach.

Parsons is a multiple time premiership coach with Deni and will be sure to have the Rams footballers at their best for 2025.

Joining Parsons as assistant coach is John Anstee, a current club captain and ever-reliable defender. He will take on a playing-coach role for the club in 2025.
