The A-grade girls were determined to get on the court and provide the big Deni and Moama crowd with an entertaining clash.
What unfolded was a complete thriller, much to the delight of Deni’s past players watching on.
The Magpies came out with confidence and led by a few for most of the game.
At the third break, the Rams found themselves five goals down.
With some inspirational words from Bec White, the Rams decided to get on with the job and work their hardest for the last 15 minutes.
In the dying seconds, the scores were even and the Rams were able to capitalise on their centre pass.
The Rams won the game by one goal, all to the credit of the passionate screams of encouragement from their supporters.
With plenty of the ball, Elle Panton was incredibly consistent and was crucial in transitioning the ball from defence to attack.
Rach Bull’s voice and defensive structure meant she was able to direct the entire defensive end.
Bec White’s composure and maturity was next level, and she was able to switch into defensive mode to apply pressure if there was a missed shot at goal.

B-grade: Rams 37 def by Moama 72.
Rams B-grade came up against a quality Moama team at the weekend and despite Rams efforts, Moama were too strong, and they came away as victors.
Rams had some really good passages of play throughout the game.
The team worked tirelessly putting pressure on the Moama team and the Rams girls should be proud of their efforts.
Kayla Hussey had yet another consistent game, with her quick drives and accurate shooting.
The strong drives and relentless pressure on her opponents saw Macie Free also having another consistent game.
The talk, direction and encouragement from Alana Coates on the court was an important tool in keeping the team focused and calm, all while maintaining pressure on her Moama opponents.

C-grade: Rams 38 def by Moama 53.
C-grade girls played four hard, fast quarters of netball, but unfortunately Moama were better on the day, winning 53 to 38.
The girls supported and encouraged each other throughout the entire game, which is evident every week.

C-reserve: Rams 28 def by Moama 51.
It was a tough day on the court against Moama.
Rams worked hard to stop Moama’s quick drive after a turnover.
Pip Robertson worked tirelessly trying to shut down the midcourt.
There was great movement in the ring from Temeka Macdonald and Charlea Clarke.

Under-17s: Rams 51 def Moama 44.
What a game! Moama came out fighting and played a fast-paced brand of netball.
The first half of the game was Moama’s but the fight was definitely not over.
After being down by nine at half-time, a few positional changes worked in our favour and we started to win back some ball and slowly peg back the gap.
At full-time the win was Deni’s, winning by seven at full-time.
A win like this doesn’t come from one star on the court, it takes the whole team.
A team that plays with trust, a team that plays with confidence, a team that, no matter what the score, plays with belief and heart.
A huge congratulations to Bonnie Everett on 100 club games.

Under-15s: Rams 34 def Moama 28.
The girls had a great game, coming from behind to take the win.
Deni had to fight for every ball in the last quarter against a strong Moama side.
Shontai O’Callaghan and Aysha Mitsch combined beautifully in attack, working the ball in and converting at every opportunity.
Molly Bradley was ever consistent in the midcourt chasing up all loose balls and Emma Parks worked hard all game creating numerous turnovers.
Under-13s: Rams 20 def by Moama 27.
A very tough game against Moama, who made us work hard for every goal.
Ava Marshall was amazing in defence, getting plenty of intercepts and also assisting down the court into attack.
Bella Hillier was also strong in defence picking up a lot of loose balls and being strong in the midcourt.
Zoe Circuitt shot super accurately and was a strong option in the attacking end. All the girls should be so proud of themselves.

Captained by Lexi Butcher, the girls played a very fast, strong action-packed game.
