A blistering first quarter of netball from the Rams saw them 18-9 goals up at quarter time, and set them up for another great win.
Amelia Seignior just refuses to have an ‘off’ week, re-offering and providing the drive out of the defensive midcourt.
Elle Panton’s read of the ball and constant pressure caused havoc.
Annie Harvey celebrated her 100th club game with a great display of athleticism.

We came up against one of the top teams of 2023.
The Numurkah players played with speed and intelligence. We stayed with them for a half which was a great achievement.
Tess Parsons put up another strong game. She used her netball smarts to keep the attacking end performing at their best for the game.
Sami Davies put together a consistent game, starting in the shooting circle with Tess. They combined well.
Sami moved into the defensive end for a short part of the game and provided the team with a strong rebounding option.
Pip Robertson has been on fire the last month. Her work rate provided much needed drive into attack.
Pip also has the ability to turn defensive with ease which supported the defensive end to slow down the Numurkah’s attack.

This week’s game was a pleasure to watch. It was nice to see the girls find the true meaning of netball again.
They worked hard, they played with passion and purpose but most of all they had fun.
After a week off, Bonnie Everett was refreshed and enjoyed being back with the team. She was accurate in the shooting and provided a good balance between a moving and holding circle.
Bonnie combined beautifully with Stella White who was also shooting at a high percentage convention rate, and did a power of work through the midcourt too.
Young gun Mia Parks was back in force this week. Mia’s hard running and netball smarts saw her take multiple intercepts.

The girls were able to practice, in a game play setting, what we have been working on at training and try out some different positional changes against Numurkah.
Ava Richards was a force in defence. She was not letting any balls get past her, and not allowing Numurkah many shots at goals.
She read the play beautifully and got her hands to a lot of intercepts. She also offered strong drives out of defence, always providing an option to the ball.
Zoe Circuitt had a great game in the goal ring. She combined well with her players and provided lots of movement to escape her defender and always be open for her feeders.
She grew in confidence as the game went on and was slotting long bombs from anywhere.
Hannah McBurnie showed how versatile she is and moved from shooting to defence seamlessly after half-time.
She worked on her strong holds and body angles in GS and then switched it up in GK, using her footwork and long reach to get plenty of tips to the ball coming in.

The Rams were excited to celebrate a well deserved one goal win against Numurkah on Saturday.
They displayed their physicality, never give up attitude and determination in order to be one step closer in making finals.
An asset for the Rams was the fierce Emma Wettenhall who was able to stop the ball whenever it was near, she took intercepts left, right and centre and was speedy with her drives.
Eloise Menadue was persistent in defence which eventually paid off, taking the winning intercept of the game.
With her reliable hands, Olivia Jeffrey was precise in her ball placement and was able to get it into the shooters.
Awards: Club Award - Emma Wettenhall; Club Award - Eloise Menadue; McDonald’s - Olivia Jeffrey.
Under-11s: Not Scored.
What a wonderful display of teamwork this week.
The girls shared the ball around, creating many opportunities for every player to shine.
Sophie Bliss dominated the centre position, working hard to find space all over the court.
Stella Chadderton worked overtime, coming forward to every ball and again showed she could switch it up moving from attack to defence with ease.
Chloe Marshall’s hard running and ability to read the play saw her take numerous incepts which gave our attackers lots of opportunities to score.
Awards: Club Award: Sophie Bliss; Club Award - Stella Chadderton; McDonald’s - Chloe Marshall.
