It was a thrilling encounter between the Deni Rams and Echuca United, with the Rams emerging victorious in a close contest.
Echuca United got off to a strong start, narrowly leading at quarter time. The Rams responded well in the second quarter, regaining control to take a single goal lead into half-time.
The momentum continued in the third with Deni edging further ahead, setting up a tightly contested final term.
The Rams held their nerve to close out the match with a well-earned four-goal win.
Eve Gregor stood tall in defence, applying relentless pressure and making crucial intercepts.
In attack Ella Harvey was composed and creative in goals, strongly supported by Keely Mitsch.
A great team effort and an important win for the Rams as they continue to build momentum this season.

B-Grade: Deni Rams 32 def by Echuca United 54.
The Rams came out strong and confident against Echuca on Saturday, with not much splitting the two teams in the first quarter.
The defensive team of Lucy Pitt, Katie Arandt and Steph Birk worked tirelessly all game, with multiple intercepts and effective defensive pressure.
Echuca were accurate in front of goal and proved too strong in the second half for the Rams.
The girls put in an impressive effort until the final whistle, however.

C-Grade: Deni Rams 26 def by Echuca United 57.
This week, the team had only six original team members. It was a great opportunity to bring up two under-17s players for some senior grade exposure.
Zoe Circuitt and Georgia Henderson provided speed and agility in the centre, with Georgia taking home one of the game day awards.
Kate McCalman returned for her second C-grade game, and provided great support for the team.
Eliza Atley was a well deserved award winner, showcasing her ability to be a consistent and reliable goal shooter for the entire game.
Maggie McCalman also earned a match day award with her relentless pressure in goalkeeper while providing many turnovers.
The team’s dedicated manager, Kylie Atley, supported the girls by effectively implementing the ‘rolling subs’ during game time.
This is a newer tactic for the girls and is something C-grade is hoping to integrate more each week.

C-Reserve: Deni Rams 17 def by Echuca United 41.
C-Reserve faced a tough opponent in second-placed Echuca, going down 17 to 41.
After a strong first quarter, the team trailed by just three goals, forcing Echuca to lift their game to pull ahead.
Defence was a standout across the match, with consistent pressure and some great intercepts.
While we struggled at times to convert opportunities in attack, the effort and intent were there.
This was the first game all season with a full team on court, and it showed. Connections are starting to build, and the group is beginning to settle into their rhythm.
There are plenty of positives to take forward for the rest of the season.

Under-17s: Deni Rams 26 def by Echuca United 57.
The Rams came up against a well drilled and dynamic Echuca United side on Saturday.
Georgia Henderson played a tireless game in defence, working hard for four quarters.
She was well supported down the defensive end by Alice Circuitt and Bella Hillier.
At the other end of the court, Zoe Circuitt had a consistent game in attack and gave her all until the final whistle.

Under-15s: Deni Rams 22 def by Echuca United 35.
The under-15s had a tough match against a strong Echuca United team.
The girls had a slow start but lifted the intensity in the last three quarters and adjusted well to changes.
Bella Hillier and Sophie Tritton worked tirelessly in defence, shutting down the attacking end and getting hands to lots of rebounds.
Brydey Maher applied relentless pressure in the mid-court, creating many turnovers and providing lots of drive.

Under-13s: Deni Rams 4 def by Echuca United 34.
The girls experienced a demanding day at the office, but they welcomed the challenge of facing another strong team.
The team has recently implemented a captain rotation, and the captain chooses a recipient for their award.
This week, Zara O’Donnell served as captain and selected Lexi Maher for her award due to her unwavering commitment.
Further awards were given to Chloe Marshall for her resolute defensive efforts and to Zara for her unyielding determination and swift defensive being the first to get the ball back after it getting turned over attitude.

Under-11s: Not scored.
The under-11s faced a talented and well drilled Echuca on the weekend.
Ball movement by both teams throughout the game was skilled and accurate, with great use of channels and leading into space.
Stevie Williams shot accurately and fed the ball well across the court and applied effective pressure with hands over the ball often getting hands to the ball.
Stella Butcher was as always composed and helped move the ball down the court with her strong leads and passes.
Ava Raper stepped up to the challenge and applied pressure with hands over and pulled in countless loose balls.
