Saturday was a fantastic day for the Deni Rams seniors, who secured a finals berth with a pleasing performance in front of our home crowd.

After a congested first quarter, we were able to get on top around the ground and give our forwards opportunities to get on the scoreboard.
Todd Gallagher and Angus Mckay presented well all day, kicking five and four goals respectively.
Ricky Gittens and Matt MacDonald worked tirelessly through the midfield whilst John Anstee led our defence, providing many rebound 50s and keeping Numurkah to one goal for the match.
After the excitement of making finals, our attention now shifts to opening our next chapter - finishing our home and away season against Cobram.
We can't wait for the opportunity to play Cobram and get an early taste of finals footy pressure.

Coming off the bye, the Rams thirds were keen to lock away a finals spot.
In drizzly slippery conditions and playing 16 a side due to Numurkah’s numbers, the boys found the early going tough.
Miller Fitzpatrick was dominating the centre clearances, and with the run of Logan Lieper and Marcus Moorse the young Rams were able to get a lead at the first break.
It was goal-for-goal for most of the game, with the big Rams ground testing the fitness of both sides.
Numurkah, to their credit, wouldn’t lay down.
A four goal third term from them set up a thrilling final quarter.
Luke Todd was working hard with Jake Herberte to rebound any Numurkah attack, and with goals to Bobby Hall and Isaac Suckling in the last the Rams held on for an 18 point win.

The fourths boys had a great day out against Numurkah.
Coach Troy Bartlett really mixed it up and moved the boys around.
There were plenty of positives with great ball movements through the centre and fantastic team play.
Jai Park had a good day out kicking seven goals, Oscar Marshall had three and Sam Crossley, Oscar Wren, Charlie Connor-Hetherington,Ted Wren and Mathew Pitt all contributed two apiece.
The captain’s award went to Charlie McCallum.
