Our 2025 season has now come to an end but not without a fight.
In a tough finals match, our players gave absolutely everything across four hard-fought quarters.
Each and every one of them put in 100 per cent, responding to every challenge, executing what was asked, and leaving nothing in the tank.
But in the end, Mulwala proved just too strong on the day.
Although we would have loved a few more weeks of netball, there is so much to be proud of.
With a young and developing side, and a team still finding its rhythm and consistency, we met our potential and our goal, to make finals.
There were many standout moments in the final game.
Eve Gregor captured the crowd with her relentless effort and fearless play, quickly becoming a crowd favourite.
Bonnie Everett was strong, controlled, and completely dominated her position, setting the tone on court.
Ella Harvey capped off her incredible season in stellar form, once again showing why she’s been one of our most consistent and high performing players all year.
This season may be over, but the future is bright.
We’ve laid strong foundations, and with continued growth, development, and belief, there's no doubt that the team will be one to watch in 2026.
Thank you to all our players, Leah and Carla, we couldn’t have done it without you.
Under-17s: Rams 48 def Finley 38.
The girls lined up on Saturday for the elimination final against Finley.
It took a little time to settle into the cold and windy conditions in the first quarter, which added to the usual pressures of finals netball.
Once the girls had found their groove, they were unstoppable.
All eight players demonstrated a huge amount of maturity on court, taking the pressures of the game in their stride.
Aysha Mitsch was able to set the tone for the Rams early in the game, with multiple defensive turnovers.
We were able to capitalise on these, thanks to the very accurate goaling of Phoebe Newman and Zoe Circuitt (despite the very windy conditions).
Alice Circuitt, Ava Marshall and Georgia Henderson worked tirelessly in defence, playing solid, disciplined netball.
Through the mid-court, Molly Bradley and Shontai O’Callaghan displayed impressive speed and precision passing into our goalers.
A great team effort as always.
The girls will now meet Tongala this Sunday at Numurkah in their next finals appearance.
