Despite missing a couple of key players, Deni tried hard against a strong and well-oiled Rumba side.
Ella Harvey worked tirelessly in attack to create scoring opportunities with support from Emma Parks who provided consistent drive through the centre.
Deni’s players were asked to dig deep, and they did just that.
Their grit, teamwork, and fighting spirit were on full display in a very fast and furious A-grade game.

B-grade: Rumbalara 22 def by Deni Rams 35.
The Rams came out slow and measured in Saturday’s game against Rumba, heading into the first change with only a one goal lead.
The girls were able to make adjustments to play throughout the court to best adapt to Rumbalara’s defensive tactics.
Katie Arandt gave a stellar performance in defence, well supported by Lucy Pitt.
Ball movement through the mid-court was well calculated by Dakota Mitsch, Mia Parks and Tess Parsons.
Overall, a good win by the Rams who played out a promising four quarters of netball.

Another great game with some strong play, but unfortunately didn't come away with the win.
The first week with a full side, it was exciting to see some new dynamics on the court.
Deni Rams should be confident that we can take out the win next time.

C-reserve: Rumbalara 51 def Deni Rams 32.
C-reserve had a tough game against Rumbalara at the weekend, but there was plenty to be proud of.
After a strong first half, the team kept fighting right to the final whistle, showing great commitment.
Every time Rumbalara started to get a run on, our defenders stepped up with strong pressure and some fantastic mid-court intercepts that helped close the gap.
It was a full-team effort, with everyone giving their all and playing some of their best netball so far.
The group is really starting to come together, learning each other’s styles and working as a team.
There’s a great sense of connection building on court, and lots to look forward to in the games ahead.

Under-17s: No game played as no Rumbalara team.
Under-15s: Rumbalara 36 def Deni Rams 14.
The under-15s had a tough game against Rumbalara, going down by 22 goals.
Emma Wettenhall played a solid game in defence, positioning well to get her hands to numerous balls and rebounded strongly.
Sarah Circuitt was strong through the middle, giving us a safe option into attack.
Lexi Butcher moved well when she went into the goal ring opening the attacking circle.

Under-13s: Rumbalara 12 def by Deni Rams 36.
The girls exhibited remarkable teamwork, successfully converting learned skills from training into an exceptional court performance, resulting in a confidence-boosting victory.
Stella's return after a four-week absence significantly impacted the team, bringing notable speed and accuracy to her goal scoring.
Awards: Killarni Macdonald, Stella Chadderton, Aleaha Leetham.
Under-11s: Not scored.
The Rams under-11s had another fierce clash this week, going head-to-head with a physical Rumbalara side.
Despite the intensity, the girls demonstrated outstanding maturity and composure throughout the game.
Versatility was once again a standout feature, with all the girls stepping up and contributing across the court.
Defensively, the team was impressive, constantly applying pressure and creating plenty of opportunities for the shooters.
Stella Butcher had a brilliant performance in the mid-court, earning the Best on Court award with her relentless drive and smart play.
Additional awards went to Harriet Maher and Isla Moodie for their consistent effort and impact on the game.
