Three Deniliquin Rams netballers have been recognised for their skill and potential, gaining selection for the Murray Football Netball League Open netball team.

Rhiannan Maxwell and Annie and Ella Harvey have all been selected.
They will make the trip to Melbourne to play in the Australian Championships finals day at the Parkville State Netball Centre on June 18.

MFL open team coach Liz Mehmet said she is “excited to see what the girls can do with the rest of the team”.
“They will be taking on the best players at the championships,” she said.

“Rhiannan, or ‘Spot’ as she is affectionately known, is an experienced player who will bring strength and stability to our attacking end,” she continued.
“Ella and Annie will bring youth and speed to the attack and midcourt areas of play.”
The championships also offer a chance for aspiring coaches to hone their craft, and an opportunity for umpires and officials to continue on their pathway to high performance.
