The Blighty Football & Netball Clubs have started to investigate amalgamating the two clubs.
A meeting was hosted on Thursday night to determine if there was enough interest to go to a vote.
On the back of that meeting, a formal vote has been set for August 22.
The football and netball club each have their own committees and currently operate as separate entities.
The club has operated separately this way since netball started in Blighty.
Blighty Football Club president Rhys Tremble said, at this stage, the idea is to survey members on which way they would prefer to go.
“It was pretty much an information session last Thursday, proposing the football and netball clubs join as one,” he said.
“The vote needs to be at least 70 per cent to pass, but it seemed everyone was all ears and open to conversation.”
The two clubs will meet separately on August 22, with the netball vote to take place in the netball clubrooms from 6pm and the football vote in the football clubrooms from 6.30pm.
Current paid members of the club and life members are entitled to a vote.
