Despite the 29-goal loss last week, coach Kyel Bain said the side will take some positives from the match and gave credit to the boys who played up to fill their undermanned side.
The Redeyes will see the return of some players back into the seniors side, and will look at playing another couple of thirds players who Bain said have been playing some really good footy.
“Strathy have some really good forwards, so we have been focussing on helping out the backline a bit more for this weekend,” said Bain.
“If we can get the midfielders to push back a bit that should help out a lot.”
Bain said they have also been working on their one-on-ones and focussing on locking the ball in the forward line until they score.
Play will start at 2.05pm on Saturday at Strathmerton Recreation Reserve.
