The Deniliquin Motorcycle Association will host 205 riders for round three of the Northern Region Motorcross Series this Sunday.

The Northern Regions consists of clubs within Victoria.

The MX series is for motocross riders from the age of seven and up.

Clubs consist of Albury Wodonga, Alpine, Goulburn Valley, Winton, Balranald, Robinvale, Broadford and Deniliquin, who host rounds.

Confirmed to be among the competitors this weekend is Kale Makeham.

Originally from Koondrook, Makeham won the U19 Australia Supercross Championships in 2012.

The Deni Motorcycle Association is excited to be hosting such a large event, and it looks like the weather is going to be just perfect for racing.

Spectators are welcome.

The gates to the track are on Racecourse Rd, Deniliquin - located between the Deniliquin racecourse and Deniliquin Sporting Car Club track.

There will be a full canteen, starting with a barbecue breakfast on Sunday morning.

A coffee van will also be operating.

Club secretary Andrew McBurnie has put a lot of time and energy into improving and maintaining the track to a professional and safe standard for this season, and in preparation for this event.
