The improvement is evident with the structured coaching drills our hugely supportive parents put the kids through each week.
Any parents who can help in any capacity is welcome. It could be as easy as picking balls up.
Quite a few green ball group players stepped up to Section 1 and play their first competitive match.
Well done to Hugo Leech, Willy Eastman and Jackson Catt.
They will all be better for the matches.
The match between JC Earthworks and Nutrien was close, with Nutrien winning nine sets to seven.
Jack Steenholdt continues his good form, with Matilda Eddy and Katelyn Paton all winning three sets for their team.
Murray Park and Reece King tried hard to help JC Earthworks over the line, winning their three sets, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough.
The other match between Wyoming and CWS was more one-sided, with Wyoming winning easily 12 sets to 4.
Winning their three sets were Henry Pisasale, Lenny Hanns, Katelyn Eddy and new recruit Willy Eastman.
