The game was very even early on with Berrigan applying plenty of pressure and leading during the second quarter.
Rovers looked to be a fitter side, and this started to show the further the game went on.
Rovers were able to kick three goals in each of the four quarters and the defence tightened up to restrict Berrigan's scoring opportunities.
The win leaves the side in second place on the ladder with Waaia, who they will face this weekend.
Tristan Fitzsimmons has been a good acquisition kicking four goals while co-coach Ben McCalman led the best player list.
Other good players were Nick Stubbings on a back flank, Harry Mcilwain, Kaiden Joss.

Thirds:
As Berrigan does not have a thirds side, no game was played.
Fourths:
We knew it was going to be a tough game against the undefeated Berrigan outfit in the wet weather conditions.
From the first bounce they were out to play.
Our midfield worked hard in the first quarter to deliver the ball to our forwards, but the Berrigan defence was too strong making it difficult to capitalise.
Defensive players Alex Ledwidge, Jake Harvey, Haydn Sampson and Lara Strong had a tough time trying to stop the forward 50 entries from a demanding Berrigan midfield.
They fought hard halting much of the Berrigan play.
Dannon Leetham and Bentley Hardman combined well in the ruck to clear the centre, however the Berrigan defence kept strong, putting pressure on the forwards.
Haydn was instrumental across half back all game taking countless marks.
Jake’s drive for the ball hindered numerous attempts from Berrigan to score.
It was a tough game for the young Roos who ran out of steam in the last quarter allowing Berrigan to run away with the game.
Final score: Rovers 0.1 (1) def by Berrigan 9.6 (60).
Best players: Bentley Hardman, Haydn Sampson, Michael Benger, Dannon Leetham, Lara Strong, Jobe Unwin.

Fifths:
Our fifths footballers were very excited to play on the main oval in front of the early crowd down at Rovers. Using almost the whole field, the kids had plenty of room to use all the new skills that they have been practising at training. Rovers shared almost 10 players with Berrigan to have equal numbers. A lot of the older kids making sure the ball was shared around with their peers. Everyone played a great game.
