Rovers proved far too strong for Picola in their latest outing, powering to a 33-goal win.
After a contested first quarter, the Rovers lifted their intensity and settled confidently into their game plan under the direction of coach Carissa Bulmer.
From the second quarter onward, Rovers took control, applying relentless pressure across the court.
Their dominance was on full display in the third term, where they held Picola scoreless while piling on 21 unanswered goals in a stunning display of cohesion and composure.
The proud Picola unit launched a spirited fight-back in the final quarter, but the damage was done, with A-grade notching up another convincing win.
The match was also a proud moment for the club, with juniors Sienna Elphick and Bae Willis, along with B-grader, Phoebe Jefferies, making their senior debuts.
All three stepped up with poise, contributing strongly and showing great promise for the future.

The Rovers delivered their strongest start of the season, setting the tone early in a convincing win over a determined Picola side.
From the opening whistle, contested play was fierce across the court, but Rovers quickly settled into their structure and began to dictate the pace of the game.
Ably led by Georgia McCulloch, the defensive unit was outstanding, consistently disrupting Picola’s attack.
A string of intercepts and well-timed rebounds led to 21 goals directly from turnovers; a testament to the team's defensive pressure and ability to convert.
In attack, the Rovers continued to build strong connections.
Swift ball movement and sharp communication were highlights, with Georgia Van Lieshout directing play in the goal attack position.
The attacking end showed growing cohesion, executing fast transitions and capitalising on opportunities with confidence.

Both C and C-reserve came up against their toughest competition so far this season.
Across both grades, our younger and less experienced players delivered their best collective performances to date, a true credit to their dedication and hard work.
In C-grade, the attacking combination of Jarrah Fitzpatrick and Paige Brown clicked beautifully, showcasing their best performance together so far.
Their movement and ability to create space for one another resulted in efficient and effective scoring opportunities.
Defensively, Reagan Behsman and Catie Lewis were solid, making it difficult for the Picola shooters.
In the mid-court, every player stepped up, contributing with sharp passing in attack and strong defensive pressure.

The defensive unit in C-reserve was outstanding, with intercepts at every opportunity from Shanè Bothma and Olivia Stubbings, supported by Nicole Felmingham.
Their relentless pressure created countless opportunities and frustrated the opposition.
Abby Whitehorn had a consistent four-quarter performance in centre, creating space and options in attack resulting in a 38-16 win.
