The Rovers will take on Mathoura across five games of football and eight games of netball, with matches running throughout the day.
Adding to the excitement, the Rovers fifths will take to the field alongside participants from Deniliquin Auskick in a fun and spirited match that’s sure to be a crowd favourite.
It’s a great chance to see the next generation of Rovers stars in action and celebrate the growing future of football in the region.
The club is inviting all former and current players and volunteers to come together and celebrate their contributions to the club’s proud history.
Guests are welcome to gather in the clubrooms from 12.30pm. Collect your wristband from Blake Norris to received discount drinks until the final siren at 4.30pm.
Food will be available from the canteen all day, and supporters are encouraged to get down to Memorial Park and cheer on the Rovers in what promises to be a high-energy round.
The celebrations continue into the evening, with the ever-popular membership draw taking place between 5pm and 6pm.
The $800 cash prize will be drawn until won, and the winner must be present to claim the prize.
A free barbecue dinner will follow, with everyone welcome to stay on and enjoy the club’s annual Goods and Services Auction - a major fundraiser that supports the Rovers into the future.
There’s an impressive line-up of items up for grabs, thanks to the incredible generosity of local sponsors and supporters.
Among the standout auction items is a $4200 precast concrete voucher from FabCast Numurkah, a valuable offering for anyone with construction or agricultural needs.
Sports fans will be excited by the limited edition signed memorabilia from AFL stars Nick Daicos, Patty Cripps, and Oscar Piastri, along with signed premiership items from Essendon and Collingwood.
There’s also a two-night Yarrawonga getaway for eight people, generously donated by Terry and Simone Lumbar— perfect for a weekend escape.
River lovers will want to snap up one of the barge experiences, complete with beer, thanks to Rob Hallum and Terry Blake, and Hayden Barker.
The auction also includes gym memberships, meat packs, dinner vouchers, skip bin hire, pest control, home appliances, and various labour hire packages — with something on offer for everyone.
