A-grade:
A1 (dark blue) 4 def A2 (light blue) 1.
This was a very tight game, sticking at 1-all until about 10 minutes to go.
Gabby Jansen was the shining light in defence, with Lenny Hanns also playing well.

A3 (dark green) 4 def A4 (burgundy) 3.
The A-grade open team had a mixture of youngest and young (aka oldies), on the field today.
It was a great game played by all the players, with the older generation open team holding on to the win.
Best on ground: Everyone; Sportsmanship: Everyone.
B-grade:
B1 (dark green) 1 def by B2 (burgundy) 2.
A very tight contest. B1’s defence was outstanding against a strong midfield from B2, consisting of Aadi Patel and Augustine Ross.
Great communication, defence and pushing forward today from the green team.
Nash Offord from B2 put his hand up to be goalkeeper for the first half and was an impenetrable rock.
Moving into defence in the second half, he had a huge impact, preventing numerous onslaughts from B1s attack.
A man of the match performance for the ages.

B3 (blue) 2 def by B4 (green/white) 5.
Great resilience was shown by the blue team when 5-0 down to stick at it and score two goals.
Another great team effort from the green and whites, gelling fantastically coming into the end of the season.
Jasper Akinyemi snagged three goals, and Levi Robson kicked two.
The pressure Lachlan Gunn put on was phenomenal all day.
Great team effort by all.

C-grade:
C1 (yellow) 1 def by C2 (purple) 3.
Both teams played very well, with the purple players coming home with the win.
C1 were missing a key defender and attacker but didn’t give up and still played a wonderful game.
Jack Napier scored three banging goals, Mitch Burn made some super saves in goals, and Max Hussey was strong in defence for purple.
Plenty of smiles on the pitch.

C3 (green) 0 def by C4 (orange) 10.
With a few green players away, the game was tough.
Best on ground for the greens was Justin O’Loghlin, doing his best to fight off the goals, but they just kept coming thick and fast.
The team worked hard to try and gain the upper hand, with our sportsmanship winner Stella Hansen doing a fantastic job trying to keep the morale high.
Unfortunately, the green machine just couldn’t eat the Carrots today, who had a much-needed win after a streak of losses and draws.
Fletcher Grant was the man of the match in orange today.

D-grade:
D1 (dark green) 3 def by D2 (grey) 5.
Dhyan came into his own and played really well in goal.
Some great long-range goals from Archie Rourke and Harvey Shevels, this was a close, competitive game with good transition by both teams.

D3 (red) 3 def D4 (light green) 2.
It was great to see so much improvement on kicking and spreading out across the pitch today.
Lenny Morris snagged two great goals, and Maxi Robson kicked the other for red. Great sportsmanship on display from both sides.
Best on ground: Kayden Halse, Tia Penrith; Sportsmanship: Hazel Fowler, George McMahon.
Kangas and Joeys
Arriving with plenty of smiles and enthusiasm, the Kangas and Joeys threw themselves straight into their warm-up and skills practice.
Everyone welcomed the almost spring sunshine, and many players are showing signs of being ready to move up into D-grade next season!
