The squad will have three more training sessions, before a final team will be selected late January.
The team will then travel to Hobart for the State Championships in April.
Ella, who was also selected for the 2021 squad, said she feels honoured to train alongside such talented athletes and coaches.
‘‘The talent in the team is amazing and the coaches are super knowledgeable,’’ she said.
‘‘You learn so much by training at this level, and grow as a player.
‘‘It’s a pretty incredible opportunity to be in this squad, even if I don’t make the final team.’’
Ella has hopes of levelling up from this year, where she was a training partner in the squad, to making the final team of 12 and playing in the State Championships.
She credits her success in her netball career so far to her parents, friends and coaches who have supported her along the way.
‘‘I wouldn’t be here without my parents support, for their encouragement and racing me around to all the trainings, games and competitions.
‘‘My coaches along the way have shaped how I am as a netballer today.
‘‘I grew up through Rams, who have been amazing, and the coaches at Deniliquin Netball Association have also helped me a lot.’’
Ella has also been signed to play for the Boroondara Express U19s team, and will compete in the Victorian Netball League next year.
The VNL season starts on March 13, where Boroondara Express will take on Melbourne University Lightning.
