It was a cold start to the day, but the Blighty fourths were keen for a good game.

Blighty was missing Logan Marshall and Ruby Gordon due to illness and injuries, so the team was slightly undermanned against Strathmerton.
Logan Andrews had a great day in the centre, showing us that he has the ability to be a strong player on the ball.
Tommy Clohesy is really starting to surprise us with his skill and courage in the game. This week he was awarded the Kelly Family award.
This week The Sibraas, Cassidy and Zane, were able to combine their efforts together to win the ball and keep possession.
It’s always great to see them working together.
Best on ground went to Hudson Kelly, who had another great game.
Andrew Frost also continued his form and his never give up attitude chasing and winning the ball all day.
Harlem Morgan had a very good game on the wing. She has great running ability and it’s great to see her when she is out there in the game and winning the ball.
Zane Sibraa had a big impact on the game moving up the ground from the forward pocket. He is always willing to tackle the opposition and win the ball.
This week Ari Tremble came up from the fifths and he was able to show us what he can do in winning the ball.
He is going to be a very strong player for Blighty in the future.
Once again the scoreboard didn’t reflect how Blighty played.

Fifths
In round 12, Strathy was another cold start to the day but the boys and girls all played really well.
Again it was hard to do the awards, but one went to Victor Githinji who has almost completely come out of his shell. He loves getting the ball and getting as much run and carry as possible.
In her first season, Amber Ward is getting better each week with skills hitting targets and getting to the next contest.
Ari Tremble played what could be his best game, getting into every contest while playing in the ruck and also getting the run and carry but not missing a target too was great.
Hunter Ward started to get a bit of grunt for the ball, and was going three to four times each time. He just wouldn’t give it up easy - another great thing to watch.
Hugh Hovenden has two spots on the field that his unstoppable ruck and full back and down back if it’s not kicked over his head it’s not going in for a goal absolutely fantastic.
The little mighty nugget, Lucas Hovenden, well the name says it all. Even though he is small he is taking on players that tower over him and coming out on top.
