Wahgunyah Rowing Club performed well at the 156th Murray Rowing Association Regatta at Lake Moodemere.
The oldest and one the best run regattas on the Victorian Rowing Associations calendar, proved to be a hit for the club, guest, friends and families.
The club would like to thank members and the Corowa and Rutherglen Clubs for their tremendous effort over the two days.
On the water Wahgunyah was successful in taking out the Men’s B Grade Pair on both days of the competition rowed by Joel Tyrill and Bryce Stones.
They also competed in the final of the A Grade Pair over 500 meters on Sunday just being pipped at the line by the smallest of margins by the highly rated Melbourne based Crew from Mercantile Rowing Club.
Congratulations must go to Corowa being the most successful local Club with Rutherglen not far behind.
