Although the score didn’t reflect the intensity of the game, Mathoura made Rovers work for their positions.
Natalie Sampson came on at half time for her first game of the year and slotted into GK beautifully.
All players took to the court today and the play continued without falter.

Rovers again came out strong and confident putting pressure on Mathoura early with a quick moving game.
Matilda Glowrey was instrumental in the first half springing from nowhere, working hard to intercept and chase down every ball.
In defence, Catie Lewis and Madi Leetham made use of every rebound and provided Rovers with extra scoring opportunities.
In the second half, strong hands from Carissa Holmberg and Jemmah Conallin moved the ball into the ring where Nicole Felmingham and Georgia Dudley displayed accuracy in goals.
Catie Lewis led a chorus of praise and encouragement on court and with consistent play from all, Rovers maintained the pressure and enjoyed another win for the season.
Best on court went to Jemmah Conallin for her controlled play and good timing on court.

The girls took a little time to settle into this week’s game as Mathoura started strong with an early lead.
Nikita Doyle and Tiarna Murdock made space across the centre, creating options and building momentum, helping settle the team and even the score.
In a tight game, Mollie Leetham was rewarded for her loud team spirit on court as the Rovers lead by three at half-time.
The game picked up pace in the second half as all on court kept the pressure on their opponents.
Kaila Park and Mollie Leetham found it hard to settle under pressure in the goal ring.
With continued encouragement the team increased the pressure on Mathoura and were happy to take the seven-goal win.
Best on court went to Kaila Park for her determination to keep up the fight.

The girls went in with confidence and absolutely got the job done.
There were some impressive passages of play which allowed the ball to make its way quickly to the goal ring.
Paige Brown and Jarrah Fitzpatrick shot goal after goal.
Leasha Bartlett worked tirelessly to keep her player out of the game then quickly adapting to make some great leads in the midcourt.
It was a beautiful game to watch.

The Rovers under-15s dominated the game from the start.
The centre court players did an excellent job of transitioning the ball from defence to attack.
The shooters made the most of their opportunities with accurate shots.
Our girls communicated well with each other, made smart passes, and helped each other out when needed.

In a top of the table battle, the Roos came out strong creating a two goal lead in the first quarter.
Accurate shooting from Lilly Boyer and Georgia Danckert powered the team to a six goal win.
The defence of Zoe Basset, Ava Braybon and Nina Glowrey was outstanding, creating enormous pressure.
Lara Horne, Amelie Bulmer and Eva Maher kept the flow down the court.

In wonderful sunny conditions Kelsey Clark, Ella Clark, Olivia Armytage, Zoe Harvey and Lexi Hussey showed versatility in the goal ring.
Amy Doherty and Lily O’Donnell linked the passages of play down the court.
Macie Ezard and Alyssa Hawley were solid in defence all day.

Another great day played by our youngest netballers.
It was a slow start to the game but by the second quarter the girls had settled and played the remainder of the game very well.
With a lot of girls away those playing really did well to play three or four quarters each.
Great work girls and keep up all the hard work.
