Ella Hipworth, Darcy Nilsson, Tyler Hillier, Callum and Jake Glenn and Harley and Mikey Benger were accompanied by manager Cheryl Bradley.
The event was a wonderful experience for the young bowlers, who got to socialise with the under-18 bowlers from across the region and beyond.
All players experienced team success over the carnival, and Darcy teamed with Flynn and Lilly Dodd from Melton to claim the best game winners award for Wednesday.
“The generosity and support of the Purtill Group is gratefully acknowledged, providing bus transport for the carnival,” Bradley said.
“Many thanks also to Katie and Scott Nilsson, Jade Hipworth, Faye Howard and Neil Buckley who travelled to Barham to support and encourage the young bowlers.”
Academy coach and RSL Bowls president Tony Tonta said he was thrilled with the performance of the young players, who “gained so much in their efforts against such quality players”.
Many of the squad are ready and primed to compete for the Deni RSL in Saturday Pennant competition for the upcoming season, he said.
