It was far more regular than players would have expected in the first round of the season.

Lachie Campbell returned to the competition after a hiatus, and won his three sets playing against Hugh Landale.
New player Emma Kenny-Herbert started off her DLTC career winning one set and 10 games out of a possible 18.

Peppin Planners had four new players to the club - Lauren Coates, Hugo McGrillen, Lachie Cooke and Jamie Loy.
David Murphy, for Mitre 10, returned to the competition after some years off.
As the start of his senior playing career with DLTC, Hugo recorded a three sets win to support his team.
Peppin won 18 sets and 131 games to Mitre 10’s eight sets and 110 games.
For Peppin, Donna McCluskey, Darcy Pogue, Preveen Kotholla and Hugo were all three set winners.
Hugo’s brother Jack was also a three set winner, but for Mitre 10.
In round two tomorrow, the two winning teams from the first round will play each other, while Mitre 10 and Legal Eagles will face off.
