The RSL Diggers had two wins in the Campaspe Bowls Weekend Pennant competition on Saturday with the away teams victorious.

Division 2 won over Mathoura and Division 4 against Ky Valley View, while Division 3 went down to Elmore on the Deniliquin greens.
In Division 2, the Diggers were up on two rinks against Mathoura and down on the other.
RSL won overall by 20 shots, 70-50.
Linda Harris with lead Miro Peterman, Danny Stanmore and Trent Walton struggled to make an impact on the scoreboard in their contest.
Down 18-9 at the halfway mark, they only managed to take three singles as the match continued.
Meanwhile, Mathoura scored steadily to win decisively, 28-14.
Trent Walton played his final match for the Diggers and we thank him for his contribution and dedication to our club during his time with us.
Craig Taylor (s), Jenny Tonta, Cheryl Bradley and Jo King held sway in a tight contest.
Scores were locked together at 13-all on the 16th end, but the Diggers took the last four ends and seven shots for a great victory.
RSL 20 defeated Mathoura 15.
Tony Tonta (s), Gary Koopman, Lindsay Dalzell and Garry Hulm had a huge win on their rink.
They led 29-1 after 13 ends and cruised home to win by 29 shots, with all team members contributing to the comprehensive result.
RSL 36 defeated Mathoura 7.
Division 3 played Elmore at Deniliquin.
Elmore won overall by 18 shots – 70-52, with the Diggers winning on one of the three rinks.
Tony King (s), James Rhook, Peter Thommers and Alan Hodges were the only team to taste victory on the day.
In a tight and dour affair, they led throughout and claimed a solid victory by five shots.
RSL 22 defeated Elmore 18.
Archie Webster (s), Neils Hilton, Ken Bowden, Ron Marchetti struggled throughout on their rink.
They led 11-8 after 13 ends but were held scoreless for the remainder of the game while Elmore scored steadily to win decisively.
Elmore24 defeated RSL 11.
Wayne Bradley (s), Jim Jennings, Sandra Hill and Tyler Hillier were behind for most of the day but they rallied strongly to trail by just two shots, at 19-21, with two ends to play.
However, the Elmore combination scored a decisive six on the penultimate end to put paid to any chance the Diggers held.
Elmore 28 defeated RSL 19.
Division 4 played Ky Valley View away.
RSL won overall by an imposing 40 shots, 85-45, with the Diggers winning on all three rinks.
John Wilson (s), Paul Connor, Graeme Gordon, and Callan Glenn had an impressive victory with all members contributing to their positions throughout.
They led throughout and scored strongly, including a seven on the 12th end.
RSL 32 defeated Ky Valley View 20.
Neville Austin (s), Peter Todd, Ian Chessells and Jacob Glenn were never headed in their contest.
They jumped out of the blocks to score the first ten shots of the game and built their lead progressively.
Twelve shots to two over the remaining eight ends saw them cruise to a comfortable victory by 18 shots, 28-10.
Bruce Clancy (s), Bruce Ferry, Gaye Goodwin and Ella Hipworth completed the clean sweep for the Diggers.
Despite a fightback from Ky Valley View which saw them trail by five shots with three ends to play, RSL took six shots over the last ends for a 10 shot buffer and a comfortable win.
RSL 25 defeated Ky Valley View 15.

Club championship singles game are progressing well and mixed pairs are underway.
Last Sunday, Craig Taylor held sway against Bruce Ferry, while Gary Hulm defeated Danny Stanmore in two excellent games.
Jim Jennings will play Gary Koopman this week with the winner to meet Craig Taylor in one semi.
Miro Peterman will play Garry Hulm in the other semi.
The grand final is set down for Sunday, December 10.
