Cobram has continued its undefeated run in the Murray FOotball League season with a resounding thrashing of Deniliquin on Saturday.

The Tigers made the trek to Deni for the clash at Hardinge St oval on Saturday.
Whilst Rams showed endeavour all day and were in the contest at half time, they were unable to contain their offensive spread in the second half.
Final score: Rams 4.4 (27) to Cobram 13.13 (91).
Deni swingman Liam Pitts continued his impressive season, keeping league leading goal kicker McCormick goalless for the first time this year.

In a topsy turvy contest, the Rams’ reserves went down by 10-points in their first loss of the year.
Riley Draxl was best on ground playing a crucial role in the backline.
Ben East also continued his rich rein of form dominating in the ruck and giving the midfield first use of every option.
Logan Ives also was as consistent as ever in the middle of the ground extracting the ball out to his teammates.
Thomas Nevinson and Jackson Jefferies played great out of the backline, winning plenty of one on ones.
Wingers Bailey Townsend and James Bradford played really well using their pace to their advantage, with Bradford laying some big tackles.

Charlie Hillier kicked six of the thirds’ goals on Saturday.
Goal kickers were Ben Nisbet with three and single goalkickers were Shane Werner, Jack Sides and Tristian Fitzsimmons.
In a must win game to stay in finals contention, the young Rams thirds stepped up to the challenge and played good team football all over the ground.
The midfield dominated the centre clearances in the first quarter and the confidence was high, but when playing a top side, Cobram was never going to roll over and hand it to the boys.
Cobram lifted in the second quarter and the young backline lead by King had to stand tall.
Scores were all even at half time and coach Mitsch asked the boys to dig deep.
Final score: Rams 10.8 (68) to Cobram 4.8 (32).
Charlie Hillier kicked six for the game playing in the forward line, while Frankie White kicked his first for the season.
A well deserved win with reward for effort being put in on the track.

After a loss last week, the youngest Rams were determined to come out fighting, knowing Cobram was going to be another tough game.
Cobram scored two quick goals in the first five minutes, but to the Rams fourths boys’ credit they dug deep and tightened up their defence, not allowing any more goals for the quarter.
Chase Bartlett kicked the first goal for the Rams in the third quarter, giving them some belief going into the last quarter.
Sam Crossley kicked the second, but accuracy struggled adding three behinds.
Cobram didn’t score at all in the final quarter and while Rams get the win, the boys didn’t disappoint, only going down by 15 points.
Final score: Rams 2.7 (19) to Cobram 5.4 (34).
