Glen Robson was the lucky winner of a Central IGA $250 voucher after being first drawn in the Deniliquin Pastoral and Agricultural Show Society raffle.
The voucher was donated by IGA, with raffle co-ordinator and Show Society member Mary Allitt saying they were appreciative of the support.
‘‘We approached IGA for a $200 voucher and they threw in an extra $50,’’ she said.
Those drawn second to fifth were also winners on the day, with Barb Lyne, Les Booth, Murray Mensforth and George Caruso all winning a half-dressed lamb donated by O’Loghlin Wiltshire Horn Sheep Stud.
Mrs Allitt thanked IGA, Jason O’Loghlin, those who sold tickets, her ‘‘assistant’’ Elaine Russell, and those who bought tickets.
‘‘It was very generous of Jason to donate his sheep for the raffle,’’ she said.
‘‘The raffle was pretty well supported once again, so thank you to all involved.’’
Proceeds from the raffle help support activities at the annual Deniliquin Show, which will be held March 1 and 2 at Memorial Park.
