By Deniliquin Pastoral Times

Peppin Planners has embarked on a new phase in its success, as Deniliquin professionals Paul Marshall and Jodie Sefton buy into the company.

Combined, Paul and Jodie have over 40 years of experience in the financial planning industry, many of which have been at Peppin.

They both hold various voluntary board positions within the local community, and are integral members of the Deniliquin business society.

Paul, who has been at Peppin since 1997, said he is both proud and excited to take Peppin to the next stage.

‘‘Continuing to be part of the community in a professional capacity is very important to Jodie and I,’’ he said.

‘‘We look forward to delivering advice solutions to our clients across the region, as well as working with their legal and taxation advisers.’’

Peppin Planners was established in 1958. Director Rob Brown said since then it has grown to become one of the largest and most respected planning practices in Australia.

‘‘Our success is a result of the excellent relationships we have with our clients, many of whom we have been working with for three generations,’’ he said.

‘‘My father started the business over 60 years ago and I am immensely proud of what we have achieved.

‘‘The new structure in our business has enabled Paul and Jodie to own their own business and reap the rewards of their hard work.’’

The Peppin Group provides busy working families easy and convenient access to a full range of expert services under one roof, which is both time and cost effective for the client.

Paul and Jodie, along with Naldo-Rei Casanova who joined Peppin Planners two years ago, deliver financial advice services.

Justine Keech and her team at Peppin Insurance provide insurance brokering services and Bruce Simpson at Peppin Ag delivers farm planning.

Peppin Accounting is headed up by Lourens Geldenhuys, providing tax and accounting services.

The new Peppin Consulting team comprising of Rob Brown, Ben Chartres and newly appointed Marie Muldoon and delivers a number of services to assist families.

‘‘Our work ranges from helping families develop plans and navigate commercial interactions including farm and business succession, partners arrangements, aged care and estate planning,’’ Rob said,

‘‘We also work to resolve differences to help each family to be on the front foot to achieve the outcomes they want and avoid the pitfalls.

‘‘We call this ‘family wealth ready’.’’

Paul said it is important to remember that you are never too young to start planning your financial freedom.

‘‘We deliver solutions to people of all ages, so you’re never too old either.’’
