Exchange victorious in replay

Exchange avenged their loss in last year’s Deniliquin & District Pool Competition grand final with a win over reigning premier Zoo Two to kick-off their season on Wednesday night.

The round one clash saw Exchange dominate the Zoo Two side, with a 7-3 victory in the grand final replay at the Exchange.

Pretty Pine started their campaign with a 7-3 win at home over Buncha One, while Globe made a successful return to the competition also claiming a 7-3 victory when hosting Coach House.

In the final game of the round it was Tatts picking up a win away from home, edging out Buncha Two 6-4.

Zoo One had the bye.

Three game winners were C Burn (Exchange), M Lengacher, J Allitt (Pretty Pine), R Bish, J Mitchelhill (Tatts), J Allsopp (Globe).

Tomorrow night’s draw is as follows: Coach House v Buncha Two, Tatts v Zoo One, Zoo Two v Pretty Pine, Buncha One v Exchange.

Globe has the bye.
