A man has been arrested at the scene of a fatal stabbing, where another man was found with multiple stab wounds at a suburban property.

Emergency services were called to Emu Plains, in Sydney's outer west, following reports of a stabbing about 6.45pm on Thursday.
Officers arrived at a Clouta Place address to find a man, believed to be in his 50s, with multiple stab wounds to his upper body.
Paramedics treated him at the scene but were unable to save him.
A 31-year-old man was arrested at the site and taken to Penrith Police Station.
A crime scene has been established and investigations are underway.
