A taste of harmony at Mayrung

Mayrung Public School held an appetising Harmony Day celebration last Friday, with the aim of bringing students together to appreciate the rich cultural diversity of Australia.

One of the highlights of the event was the variety of delicious food prepared by students and their families, representing countries from all around the world.

While tasty, students learned that Harmony Day is not just about enjoying delicious meals, rather it is about respecting and celebrating the many cultures that make up Australia.

Through this simple act of sharing food, the students got to experience the importance of inclusion, understanding and friendship in a diverse society.
