Action-packed April OOSH program

Tyler Littman, Ayla Ives and Aisha Thommers.

Fun and active has been the goal for the Intereach Outside of School Hours holiday program this week.

On Wednesday, the youngsters traded in the OOSH play spaces in Trickett St for the Deniliquin Stadium, where they enjoyed games, gymnastics and basketball guided by stadium staff, Flipstars Deniliquin and Evolve Wellbeing and Fitness.

They spent a lot of their energy in trying all the activities, but also learned values like the benefits of good communication, teamwork and resilience.

Yesterday, it was back to the centre for biscuit decorating, woodwork and the usual play options.

The holiday program continues today, and next week.
