Art prize opened in style

Deniliquin’s Easter long weekend kicked off with the opening gala of the Edward River Art Prize on Thursday evening.

The evening allowed attendees from the public a first look at the stunning range of artwork put on show for the 2026 Edward River Art prize.

The event put on by the Edward River Art Society and Rotary Club of Deniliquin demonstrated the immense number of talented artists willing to have their pieces put on display.

Patrons enjoyed a wonderful evening, getting to observe all the artwork that will now be on exhibit this month.
