A great day was held last Saturday at the Berrigan races, where the weather was ideal and the local fields competitive.

The three main races - the Brian Dorman Memorial, Robbie Saunders Memorial and Bernard Curtin Memorial -made a special touch to the August race meeting.
The race committee will now turn its attention to the Berrigan Cup which will be held on Saturday, October 31.

Congratulations to the Berrigan thirds who had a fantastic win on Sunday against Dookie. It took the first quarter to get the boys going but once, they did they were unstoppable.
The thirds will now have a week off and will play in the preliminary final at Blighty on Sunday, September 6.
The seniors will play this Sunday in an elimination final against Waaia.
