A family evening by the Edward River has netted almost $12,000 for the Deniliquin Hospital.
Deniliquin Murray to Moyne cycle team member Matt Tubb said those attending the fundraiser at the Deniliquin Boat Club have again provided invaluable support.
The evening was free to attend, with a silent auction of donated goods and services the primary fundraiser.
Mr Tubb said $11,912 was raised.
All money raised by the group is used to purchase wish list items that aid in the comfort and care of patients at Deniliquin Hospital.
The wish list is developed by hospital staff and includes only items not covered by government funding.
In 2023, the cycling team helped purchase a $27,000 Ook Snow All Bariatric Hospital Bed for the palliative care unit.
The 2023 Murray to Moyne cycle relay will be held on April 6 and 7, covering about 537km from Echuca to Port Fairy.
