Big day for caravanners

You may have noticed a few more caravans in town than normal last week.

Bolstering numbers was the gathering of Red Centre Caravans owners at Deniliquin BIG4 Holiday Park.

Most stayed in their caravans for the weekend, while others took advantage of the cabins and glamping tents, with about 250 people attending in total.

They gathered on Friday for a meet and greet, where many enjoyed a ‘happy hour’ together on the lawn.

The Saturday was the main event, with workshops from Red Centre Caravans staff - on topics like servicing and maintaining your caravan or preparing for off-road caravanning - filling the morning.

Rally participants then had the chance to explore Deniliquin on their own before coming back together at 5pm for a fun night.

There were heaps of giveaways for the owners, kindly donated by suppliers from the caravan industry. Some of the prizes were valued up to $3,000.

After the giveaways, the participants were all treated to a delicious meal catered for by Dean and Courtney Goudie, the owners of Red Centre Caravans, and the night rolled on with some live entertainment.
