Nominations for the annual gala hosted by the Deniliquin Business Chamber opened yesterday.
The public can nominate their favourite business superstars across 15 different categories.
There are individual awards, awards which recognise overall innovation and sustainability and outstanding visitor experience.
Public nominations will only be open for two weeks, so get yours in now so you don't miss out!
“Businesses who are nominated will be contacted by the chamber to submit a formal awards submission,” chamber executive officer Donna Taylor said.
“This is a great opportunity for businesses to put their best foot forward and earn the label of 'award winning business'.
“Local winners then have the opportunity to proceed to the regional and state New South Wales Business Awards.”
Award categories are:
• Outstanding Employee
• Outstanding Young Business Leader
• Outstanding Business Leader
• Employer of Choice
• Excellence in Innovation
• Excellence in Sustainability
• Outstanding Community Organisation
• Outstanding New Business or Startup
• Excellence in Diversity and Inclusion
• Excellence in Micro Business (less than 5 employees)
• Excellence in Small Business (5-20 employees)
• Excellence in Large Business (21 or more employees)
• Excellence in Customer Service - Business Category
• Excellence in Customer Service - Individual Category
• Outstanding Visitor Experience
All finalists in the business categories are automatically nominated for the coveted Business of the Year award.
