Blazing Sword wins 150th anniversary race

As the race got underway, the favourite, Canny Hell was slow to jump and found the back of the field early on.

Toompine was the early leader and lead most of the way, but by the turn and with 250m to go, Blazing Sword had made his move and stormed away winning by two lengths.

Canny Hell made up lost ground and motored home to finish second with Toompine in third.
