Their festive display at 6 Greaves Crescent was a labour of love for the couple, who have decorated for many years “for the kids”.
The Martins adopted a Bluey theme for the display this year, with illuminated blow ups taking up a good portion of their small end-of-court yard.
They are complemented by traditional lights and decorations, and a few Christmassy dachshunds - an identifier for Karen who has a real-life sausage dog named ‘Lenny’.
Deniliquin Business Chamber vice president Helen Flisher said the presentation delighted the judges.

“It was a fabulous, fun theme to delight kids and adults alike, with beautifully coordinated decorations which completely filled the yard and looked just amazing.”
For their efforts, the Martins have claimed a $400 Deni Business CHamber Why Leave Town gift card, sponsored by Ray White Deniliquin.
Runner-up in the residential category was Bradley Renwick at 83 Edwardes St, who wins a $100 gift card also sponsored by Ray White
“The beautiful bright pink lights were a standout,” Mrs Flisher said.
“It was a meticulously decorated and beautifully coordinated house and yard, with a fun but classy feel to it.”
The prize for best decorated business went to Cherrywood Emporium at 36 Napier St.
Owner Jenny Pate chose an Australiana take on the Santa theme for her CBD display.
Judges were especially delighted by the emus.
