The display will be located at the Port of Echuca, Murray Esplanade, from 10am until 1pm, with the public welcome to attend.
The Riviera Owners Association Australian national and Victoria/Tasmania co-ordinator Tom Kunek said 25 cars would travel from Queensland, NSW, Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania for the three-day event.
“We will be in Echuca for three nights, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from March 27 to March 29,' he said.
“On Friday, we are going to cruise to the Depot in Deniquilin, Saturday will be the show and shine at the Port, then on Sunday we are going to MOVE in Shepparton.”
The vehicles were known for their luxury features.
“They are an American car called the Buick Riviera, and they were made between 1963 and 1999,” Mr Kunek said.
“In fact, General Motors started off as Buick, making it one of the oldest marques in the world.
“All the Rivieras were two-door hard tops, and they were classified as elegance with performance.
“They were nicknamed the ‘bankers’ hot rods’.
“For their time, they were very heavily optioned with power steering, electric windows, air conditioning, sound system, performance, custom interior and cruise control.”
Attendees can interact with owners, view rare GS models and learn about the history of Buick Riviera cars at the event.

Mr Kunek owns two 1965 Rivieras, and said three rare GS models would be displayed.
“All the cars will be at the show and shine, and people can come down and talk to the owners about the cars,” he said.
“For the GM brand, you had Cadillac, and that was for the extrovert, and the Buicks were the introvert.”
