Deni Fire + Rescue were called to a Harfleur St home about 1.30pm.
The resident was reportedly conducting a burn-off in the front yard of the property.
Firefighters extinguished the fire and advised the resident of local restrictions, with burning off within town limits prohibited during the Bush Fire Danger Period, which runs through until March next year.
Intersection collision
One person was taken to hospital after a collision at the corner of Napier and Harfleur Sts on Monday.
Emergency services were called to the two car crash about 9am.
It is alleged one of the vehicles failed to give way, and collided with the other.
Ambulance NSW paramedics provided initial assessments at the scene, and one person was transported to for additional assessment and treatment.
Deniliquin NSW Fire + Rescue’s HAZMAT crews worked to clear debris, oil and diesel from the roadway, making the scene safe before being handing back to authorities.
NSW Police were also in attendance.
