The celebrations will begin with a 10am service on Sunday, July 6, followed by a light luncheon in the Community Centre.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
While ideally organisers wanted names by June 25 to Marie Crack on 5884 3304 or Julie Pell on 5884 3316, I’m sure they would still be happy to hear from you – just don’t leave it too long.

Wow – we have certainly been dealt some wild and woolly weather of late, but I understand it is only to be expected.
I’m told the First Nations people referred to our area as ‘Windy Place’, and they have definitely been proved to be right.
Although the windy weather is more common around September, it seems to have come early, and with a vengeance.
It has brought along a good helping of rain.
While it is usually fun to lay in bed and listen to the rain on the roof, lately we have been holding our breath, half expecting to have the roof drop in on top of us.
Well, even if our weather is currently a bit rugged, I’m sure we would not want to swap with those on the other side of the globe where bombs and missiles are regular visitors.

Mathoura Football Netball Club’s Indigenous Round in August is sure to have a special look, with football jumpers and netball dresses being designed with meaning.
Some of the players’ stories are expected to be incorporated into the design.
The round will be against Picola United on August 9.
